How to Double Google Adsense Earnings Changing Ad Style Setting – don’t you just love Google Adsense? I do! If you have not tried it on your website or blog yet, then you need to give it a try.
What is Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is an advertising service by Google that automatically places adverts in your website. The program is designed for website owners that want to display targeted text, video or image advertisements on website pages.
By allowing Google to place the adverts in your website, you can earn money when site visitors view the videos or click the ads. Nice!
The advertisements are controlled and managed by Google and you just need to create a free Google AdSense account and use the advert coding to display the ads.
The adverts that are shown are either based on the content that is on the page or on what the person reading your page is looking for.
Google Adsense Earnings
I have a number of websites and the earnings from Adsense steadily grow each month as the traffic grows.
Payment is always made on time and during the last week of each month for the previous month’s earnings.
So what is the Double Earnings bit you ask?
This is why I wrote this post, because I am very excited to share this information!
You have probably heard of using A/B split testing of things to see which works best and Google Adsense has this facility if you want to use it.
I am pretty poor at using A/B split testing to be honest and normally go with my gut feelings, which is not always a good idea, I hasten to add.
Changing Ad Style Setting
So I read a recent SEO article about making it so obvious for your readers as to what you want them to do when they come to your website. It could be to sign up for your email newsletter or to buy something.
Whatever it is you want them to do, make it child-like simple and obvious for them, with no other distractions.
So, after reading that, I had a look at my websites too, to see what could be improved.
I am trying to increase my Adsense earnings, so I studied this to see what I could do better.
Most people when they create a new Adsense advert just leave the default ad style setting, which up to now I have done too, to be honest.
Okay, here it comes: so I changed all the advert’s styles to “Neon”. That’s it. Looks like a bit of an anti-climax, but it definitely is not.
My earning doubled overnight and i could hardly believe it.
The once default coloured Adsense adverts were now bright purple neon and really stood out on the page where people could see them better and click on them!
Try different Ad Style Settings
I really encourage you to try different ad style settings and colours to see what works best for you and hopefully you will find an increased return in commission too!
